Fancy Christmas Balls
-
Buy 1 glass Christmas ball per girl (grab a few extra's just incase,
however I have never had a girl break one yet.)
-
Buy about 6 bottles of ceramic paints, the colours we have found that work
best are red, green, white, yellow, blue and orange.
-
Take the top hanger things off the balls and have the girls pick 2
different colours of paints. (must use 1 lighter colour and 1 darker colour
for it to work)
-
As a leader drop about 7 - 10 drops of each colour inside the balls
-
have the girls cover the holes with one of their fingers and
"SWIRL" the paint around the ball. DO NOT SHAKE OR THE COLOURS
WILL MIX & IT WONT WORK.
-
You may find that some girls will need a few extra drops of paint in their
balls
-
When the balls are completely covered tip the balls upside down and let
them rest over night in a plastic cup
-
In the morning place the hanger back on the ball and using either red or
green yarn add a string loop, used to hang the ball on the tree.
-
These balls also make very nice Christmas gifts for family and friends.
