Glue Ghost

Materials:

  • Wax paper

  • Thick white cotton string (NOT wool) – 12” pieces

  • White glue

  • Large googly eyes (8 mm or bigger)

On a large piece of wax paper, arrange the string in the shape of a ghost.  Leave the bottom edge open.  Fill the space inside the string FULL of white glue (I find Elmers school glue is best, and it come in 3 L containers), right to the top of the string – the glue layer has to be thick, with no thin areas.

Drop the goolgy eyes in the “head’ of the ghost – I provide a variety of sizes, as some girls like to have one eye bigger than the other for a goofy look.  Others like to give the ghost 3 eyes. Oval eyes (if you can get them) look good in this craft too.

Leave the ghost to dry until all the glue has gone clear.  Peel off wax paper.  Hang in window.
