Warm Fuzzies
This is a game called "Warm Fuzzies" and it helps the girls
remember the Brownie Promise:
Materials:
a few large pompoms
Instructions:
-
divide the girls into two teams.

Have each team stand in a row, facing each other, with an adult standing
behind them.
-
Team A begins.
-
The adult taps a girl on the head, either in a row, or at random, and she
says the first word of the Brownie promise.
-
The adult behind picks another girl, and she says the next word.
-
The team keeps going until they make a mistake.
-
Then it goes to the next team, who also keeps going unitl they make a
mistake.
Whichever team makes it to the end of the Promise (the word "law")
gets a "Warm Fuzzy" (a pompom). This game is great because the girls
never know when it will be their turn, so they tend to pay attention. We have 24
Brownies, and we played "Best of 3." They had a great time, and asked
if they could play it again at another meeting.
