PIZZA PARTY CHALLENGE WINNERS 2011

Congratulations to the winners of the Pizza Party Challenge for the Canadian World Friendship Fund. In the most novel way to collect money the winner was 39 th Calgary Guides. They hosted a Family Heritage Night. Each girl made a display of her family tree and brought a food dish representing her family’s culture. They invited family and friends to attend and collected donations at the door. The displays included poster, scrapbooks, games, journals and trees. All the girls had a chance to try lots of different foods.

The winners for most money collected per person was a tie between Redcliff Pathfinders and 1 st Uncas Guides. They both raised about $35.00 per registered member.

Congratulations to all three units on a job well done and thank you to all the units that entered. Next year will see another challenge so get your girls planning now for next year. It is never too early to start collecting for the CWFF.
