GIRL GUIDES OF CANADA-ALBERTA COUNCIL
Would you like to help shape a better world for girls and young women?
This is possible if you would consider making a donation today.
Background
Girl Guides of Canada-Alberta Council was formed in 1929, however there were already units established in Edmonton and Calgary in 1913. Since those early days Guiding has impacted the lives of girls and women in Alberta, Northwest Territories and Yukon. Through Guiding's various imaginative and innovative activity choices, girls are mpowered to reach their potential, be independent, confident and caring as they learn to develop decision-making and life skills.
As Canadaa's largest organization for girls aged 5 to 17+ and women over 18, Guiding has long contributed to success among girls and women by providing opportunities for fun, friendship, camping, adventures, personal and leadership development, role models for girls, service and community involvement. Girl Guides of Canada-Alberta Canada is a non-profit organization, has charitable status and is able to issue charitable tax receipts for all donations received.
